The Dance Academy Limerick
Our school operates 7 days a week from our studios in Castletroy Town Centre, Limerick. We offer weekly classes in ballet, cechetti, jazz, lyrical and tap. We also offer workshops throughout the year in varying dance genres including commercial, hip hop, contemporary, pointe and musical theatre, hosting many guest teachers. We take students from 3 years old for creative dance and movement classes, and from 4 years for ballet. Students can start jazz/lyrical from 7. We offer adult classes in ballet and tap.

Classes Overview
We aim to give our students every opportunity to develop their dance and performance skills through class assessments, examinations, choreography competitions, concerts, national competitions and fundraising ventures. We also have students training and performing with the Irish National Youth Ballet and The Morea Performing Arts Associate Programme in Dublin.
Suitable students are provided with the opportunity to take examinations with internationally recognised Examination boards. (IDTA ISTD)
Our teaching faculty are dedicated and caring with a wealth of knowledge, qualified in varying genres of dance, drama, and primary and secondary level education. Staff are first aid trained and Garda vetted.
We operate our school as a community where we hope that we can offer dance to all abilities. We also aim to use dance as a platform for education at a broader level, engaging with projects for local charities and environmental and social issues. Our hope is that our students enjoy the time they spend in our classes, enjoy their dance 'careers' with us, and have a safe place where we can help them grow into well rounded young adults.
